Weddings/Commitment Ceremonies
Rev. Sage Bennet, Ph.D. has performed weddings for the past eight
years and offers a nondenominational approach to meet the preferences
of couples from a wide perspective of spiritual beliefs.

Wedding Session: Many couples choose to meet with Rev. Sage, in
person or on the phone, to hear about the wedding services she
offers. The wedding service can be modified or created anew to
meet the needs of each couple. (15-30 minutes)
Wedding Planning Consultation: Once
couples decide to have Rev. Sage perform their ceremony, they are
given a full wedding planning consultation that is part of their
wedding package. Topics include:
- obtaining a marriage license
- dress rehearsals
- configuration of the ceremony
- strategies for dealing with families
and children
- stress management

Premarital Counseling Sessions: Many couples choose to
prepare themselves for the wedding ceremony and marriage through
premarital counseling sessions. Possible topics include:
- the spiritual aspects of creating vows
- individual concepts of
marriage
- issues concerning families
- views on having children
- children and the ceremony
- the meaning of commitment, individuality,
and commitment
Phone and In-Person Consultations: Dr. Sage offers individual
work in person in Marina del Rey and Culver City, CA, by appointments
before and after seminars, and via telephone. The cost is $50 per
half-hour or $85 per hour. (If desired each person will receive
a tape of the session.)

Elegant Transition Rituals
Dr. Sage Bennet offers
individually designed rituals to assist in the passage from one
stage of life to another. She assists individual in the creation
of sacred space, creation and facilitation of the ritual, and
expressive ways to implement the ritual.
